I've yet to make a journal here, so I thought I might as well break the ice while I'm killing time. I've been using deviantART for a few years under the name ~tolg, but for some reason or other, I thought it might be nice to start over, since I've got heaps of not-so-good artwork over there dating back to age thirteen.

It's been quite the school year so far.
I'm currently at the University of Toronto studying History/Humanities, but I had a bit of an epiphany in December that I wanted to pursue art full-time. So, I've spent the last few months scrambling together a portfolio for the Ontario College of Art & Design (I'm looking to go for their Illustration program), trying new media and all that jazz. The last few deviations are all portfolio pieces. The interview is actually this Saturday, and I don't really know what to expect going into it, but I've got a good feeling about the whole thing. Anyhow, hopefully I'll be doing more of these and getting a bit more active around deviantART.
